As a Master’s degree-prepared Social Worker with more than 20 years of experience in both the criminal justice and social work fields, I am dedicated to enhancing mental health services for youth, families, and individuals facing complex challenges. My career has focused on building comprehensive programs that effectively bridge the gap between community resources and law enforcement, improving outcomes for those in crisis.
I have worked extensively in crisis intervention, clinical assessment, and team coordination, equipping me with the skills to lead high-performing teams and collaborate across various agencies. My expertise lies in supporting Co-Responder programs that integrate mental health professionals with law enforcement to address urgent mental health needs in real-time. Through my roles as a licensed therapist, Co-Responder, case manager, and crisis evaluator, I have successfully managed mental health crises involving diverse populations, including veterans, youth in crisis, and individuals struggling with substance use and severe mental health disorders.
In addition to my clinical work, I have developed and implemented program policies and procedures, provided training for new team members, and collaborated with local law enforcement agencies to ensure seamless service delivery. My work has led to the development of innovative partnerships and programs that prioritize continuity of care, allowing for more effective interventions and long-term support for those in need.
I am passionate about fostering trust and collaboration between mental health professionals and law enforcement, creating environments where both responders and community members feel supported and understood. By staying current with best practices and therapeutic approaches, I continue to evolve my practice to meet the ever-changing needs of the communities I serve. My goal is to lead and develop impactful mental health programs that promote resilience, safety, and well-being for all.
Whether it’s through direct therapy, program development, or cross-agency collaboration, I am committed to driving systemic change and providing compassionate, effective mental health services.
